Adobe Target

Hi all!How should I set up a test where the landing page I'd use, let's call it a "thank you" page, would always have some dynamic query string parameter? For example, domain.com/thankyou?offerid=12312312312. The offerid could be different, but i just want to track how many times someone got to /thankyou. Target only seem to track the "conversion" when the URL has the query string parameter in it. Thanks in advance for the help!

Hi,We are trying to launch the Global Mbox across our site through DTM however every time we launch the mbox live we experience an endless reload issue that causes conflict on our site.What would cause this.Thanks!

Hi,I have a question. I am using Target Standard to create A/B test. In this test I need to pass a value from the page into Target – Once the page loads I need to get the value from a cookie and pass it to Target. I will then need to use this value to create audience segments so that I can segment audience for the test based on the value stored in the cookie. I am able to get the value from the cookie and so my question is - can I pass this value into Target? If so could you please enlighten me as to how it is done? Thanks & Regards,Manna.

Hi I've been trying to update a link in a global mbox but get this warning from Adobe Target: "edited content has documente.write or mboxCreate invocations. Delivered content won't apply as expected"  this is the javascript code that i've been trying to apply the changes : <div class="mboxdefault"><div onclick="location.href='http://THE URL/?s_cid=hp-hero'" style=" left: 230px; width: 690px; position: absolute; float: right; padding: 13px 15px 15px 0px; cursor: pointer; height: 280px;"></div></div>pleas note that this note is in the code : <!-- NOTE: Please do not remove the '?s_cid=hp-hero' from the end of the URL regardless of what the link is. --> there is already a page that works exactly with this structure but as soon as i want to change the link, it doesn't work. Any suggestion?  cheers

Hi, I havce been set up as a user for Adobe Target by my administrator with the same access rights as a number of members of my team but for some reason, I cannot create any tests as my Create Activity button is not active.My administrator cannot find any reason for this and so I find myself here. Any help much appreciated.BR

If your page does not display the expected content, there are a few steps you can take to debug content delivery.Check your activity or campaign code carefully. A typo or other error could cause the expected content not to display.Use mboxTrace or mboxDebug to troubleshoot the mbox.mboxDebug is especially useful when you are setting up Target on your page to make sure the mbox is firing and the cookie is being set. However, it does not go into the kind of detail that is useful when debugging content delivery. If your activity does not appear on your page or undesired content appears, use mboxTrace to examine and debug the page in detail.Because mboxTrace and mboxDebug can expose campaign data and profile data to external parties, an authorization token is required. The token can be retrieved using the Target Classic tool or via an API call. The authorization token is valid for 6 hours.To get the token from Target Classic, click Configuration > mbox.js > Edit, then click Request A

I cannot see the Customer Attributes option in Target > Audiences.Do I have to ask for enablement?

Has anyone done any user flow A/B testing like testing new login flow vs old? This type of testing is not a front-end JS changes but creating a new flow in CMS and then testing it. How can we have this backend integration with T&T to test code changes?

Hi I am able to connect to target classic but i am unable to connect to target premium from aem or vice versa.how should i configure my Target Replication Agent URI?I tried following two:1. http://localhost:4503/bin/receive2. default URI i.e tnt:///But it's not working. I just wanted to sync my target premium with AEM 6.1 so that i can use the automated personalization.

Hi guys,I'm starting working with Adobe recommendations but i'm lost and the documentation doesn't help me because it is mainly oriented to Adobe Target Classic workflow.Can somebody explain to me the difference between creating and recommendation activity (in which i decide the criteria, design and collection) and create an dynamic mbox in the source code.I'm very lost in the process of creating recommendations base on items and i haven't be able to find good resources to learn how to do it.Thanks in advance

When selecting the URL for an Activity, certain chosen URLs will cause the preview pane to refresh constantly.  Other URLs on the same domain work as expected.  This happens with javascript disabled as well.  Is this a known bug?

Hello, how often are pages randomized in an A/B test? Is it every time based on a new cookie? If I delete cookie will I have a 50% chance of seeing either of the two pages in the test?

Hi,I have multiple search and promote instances pointing to different environment (STAGE, QA, UAT, etc). If any changes done on any of the search and promote instances (like creating metadata,facets,etc), how do we deploy these changes to other search and promote instances? Please guide.

Usually this question arises when users are not sure on whether they have Analytics for Target enabled/provisioned for their account or not. First of all, you need to get provisioned for A4T. It is not a click and go feature that can be enabled from within the Target user interface. You can ask your Account Manager or consultant to get you provisioned for A4T. Once the provisioning for A4T is complete then you can follow the below steps in order to create and A/B activity using Analytics:Before a report suite can be selected when defining an Analytics activity, you need both an Analytics user account and a Target user account. Can someone help with the "sell" of search and promote? I get that the product is trying to surface more relevant content, but in regards to search activity, how it is different than my dev going in, setting a search variable to capture the original term, then if the user refines the search term, setting a variable to capture the refined term, then updating the meta tags with the refined term? I have to be missing something, right?

Hello ,I have a question regarding revenue tracking in Target.So normally to get revenue, I add the following metricAnd for Revenue Per Visitor (RPV), I add the followingHowever, I see that Revenue is not being reported. In spite of an increase in sales conversion rate, I see that Revenue is still $0.00.RPV is getting tracked. But it is really low. I mean, I see that 1200 people visited the order_confirmation_page, but it shows RPV as $0.21.So I just wanted to know what I am missing. Would you be able to help me with this?Thanks,Manna.

Hi, I am very new to Adobe Target Standard/Premium. Is there a way to setup Experience level target. I cannot seem to be able to figure it out at this point of time.  When i get to "2. target" tab in the campaign setup workflow, i can define the traffic and the "ACTIVITY LEVEL TARGET" but not experience level target.  Please help. I need to setup campaigns such that in the same campaign, based on what parameters you come in with you see different experiences/offers ThanksRaghav Sharma

Hello,We have a live ABN campaign with 2 offers. I would like to see the other offer working in my browser and it seems I am locked in experience A. Is there any way that can raise the chances of me getting to experience B?The Offer is in a quote summary page so it is pretty hard to 'start fresh' everytime. Mark

I was approached by a team asking if I could create the following test:Control - Current experience, where the user goes from page A to C.Test - They want to create a page B in between so that when the user clicks on a link in page A, he/she is taken to B and from B the user can go to page C.Is this test feasible in target? Thanks,Manna.

I want to make a change for an element on our website and then implement A/B test. When I do it in Visual Experience Composer, I can only make the change for the individual webpage. So how can make the change for the whole website?Thanks. 

Hello,My company just migrated from classic to the new workflow. In Test & Target, I was able to set up a redirect offer with parameters: www.mysite.com would redirect to www.mysite.com?parameter=valueThe new workflow doesn't allow me to add the ?parameter=value when creating a redirect offer or redirect experience action. Is this supposed to be this way? If so, this is a huge part of what we do as a company.I have two questions:1. I see all of our classic campaigns are imported into Target. When I edit them, it takes me to Test & Target. Will I still be able to access these campaigns in the months/years to come? 2. If I can access the old campaigns, via Test and Target, the above scenario about URL parameters still works. If that goes away, how can I redirect to a URL with parameters? Thanks!

I have created a simple campaign via saveCampaignAPI.I have attached the XML through which I have created the campaign.Now I would like to show this campaign's data on an a plain HTML page(like offers inside this campaign).I know it can be done through mboxes , however I'm struggling with it, Could anyone provide any inputs about the same?A sample reference mbox that fetches data from target server would help a lot:)Thanks in advance.
