Updates for Browser:iPad and Browser:iPhone in Browser audience attributes (April 30, 2024) Updates Details Browser:iPad and Browser:iPhone updated in Browser attributes used when creating audiences. Adobe Target lets you target on any of several category attributes, including visitors who use a specific browser or browser options when they visit your page. Starting with the Target Standard/Premium 24.3.1 (March 4-6, 2024), built-in audiences created using the Target UI, such as Browser:iPad and Browser:iPhone will be updated to perform proper targeting for iPad and iPhone using profile.mobile.deviceVendor, profile.mobile.isMobilePhone and profile.mobile.isTablet. This update requires no action on the customers’ side. Important: For customers to perform proper targeting for iPad and iPhone in profile scripts (and JavaScript segments), manual changes must be made by the customer by Apri

Visual Experience Composer helper extension (April 23, 2024) The legacy Target Visual Experience Composer helper extension was created using Manifest V2. Google announced that it will no longer allow extensions created using Manifest V2 starting in June 2024. For more information, see Visual Experience Composer helper extension. Hi, We are uploading multiple user profiles to Adobe Target using Adobe target bulk profile update api, the pcId used in requests is thirdPartyId. Is there a way to look up these user profiles in Adobe Target or any other Adobe platform?  We want to check, if the profiles are updated as per our expectation and the number of profiles uploaded via Bulk Profile Update API is reflecting in Adobe target.  Can you please guide us.  Thanks.Ramya

Dear Community,  we are currently running a test, where we (a news media organisation) want to show our users the currently most read articles. This setup is quite basic in target recommendations.  There is just one problem: The articles do not update (not in real-time, not in 6 hours or 1 day) - they just stay the same as when the Criteria get edited/updated.  Does anyone else has experiences this?  Many thanks in advance.Jakob Our criteria setup:  

I'm attempting to alter the text of some buttons on a webpage. They are product recommendations driven by a third party company (API call). When I adjust the styling in the browser dev tools, I see the change apply as I expect. When I take that same code over to Adobe Target and implement via custom code (adding a style element to the head of the page), the change does not apply. Could this be a timing issue of when target is firing versus when the product recommendations load? Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Hi everyone, I have to create two  A/B tests on the same mbox id, each with a 50% split targetting the same set of audience. Now one activity is based on the header section of the webpage and second one is for enabling a certain prompt on the initial page load. According to the analysis, there shouldn't be any conflict among both the tests.The challenge is does everyone who sees experience A of demoTest_1 also will see experience A demoTest_1 and experience B of demoTest_1 also will see experience B demoTest_1? or would it be a random split?

Hi Community,I am trying to create an Adobe Target offer using IO API, but for some reason, I am getting the below error. can someone help me here?which editor access do I need to have? 

We don't have SKUs attached to products. Our product hierarchy works like this: Product Line -> Product Category -> Product Family -> Product Part No.  In the process of building the recommendation engine major challenge we have is filling the feed template for the target. That CSV asks for entity ID in the first column which we are having a hard time figuring out what will go there.                   And, what about if we don't have all the fields available with us to fill it out in this feed CSV file? custom field columns I understand can be ignored but what about the rest of them? Do they need to be passed with info? We can't leave them empty? For example for inventory and stuff, we go via disturber portals not directly by our site so in that case we can't have info for "entity. inventory"   And, then what about the Location to upload this CSV file? Can you share a reference example path to understand with an elaborate

Use case: We send emails to fill out the surveys to our customers quarterly. And, I plan to implement a popup personalization in Target where I can target the audience who has not filled the survey. As we all know about the Survey Monkey portal, which most usually companies use and so do we. However, I want to implement Target Experience in a way that I can use the audience of Survey Monkey (emails that I have in hand) to Target with criteria if they have filled out the survey then don't show a popup to them otherwise, show the popup.   If this would have been a form fill on my site then I could have attached an mbox param to that form fill success and have built the audience however this is a survey thing so getting confused and looking for suggestions from my target community.   Any suggestions on this kind of audience building?    

Hey all, getting stuck into the Target Delivery API and have found success in getting an API call working to retrieve basic results ('Most viewed', 'most purchased').  I'm aiming to take a step forward on this and start utilising category based popularity recommendations. I am attempting to track clicks on a button that lives inside a modal. The modal does not exist when the page first loads -- it is rendered only after the user takes a certain action.I have successfully added the goal metric using the VEC; I can see the blue highlight around the selected element.However, clicks on this element are not being tracked. When I inspect the element with dev tools, it lacks the class "at-element-click-tracking", which tells me that is not getting wired up properly. (For reference, other elements on that page are tracked just fine.)Should I expect this setup to work? Should I be able to track clicks on dynamic elements? Or is Target limited to tracking elements which are present at the time of page load?I'm running at.js 2.2. The activity is being served through my global mbox.

Hi! I've been asked to create two A/B tests to run simultaneously on the same page, both with an A/B/C 33% random split of All Visitors. The two tests modify different page elements with no overlap, so I'm hoping there wouldn't be any collision. (Right?) But I haven't been able to find a clear answer on whether the 33% traffic split is shared between the two tests. Does test 1 create a random audience split, and test 2 create a re-randomised and different audience split? Or does everyone who sees test 1 variant A, also see test 2 variant A?Ideally I'd like the results from the two tests to be uncontaminated by one another. (I considered approaching this as a multivariate test but we are not interested in how the two tested elements affect each other. We want to consider them as 2 distinct tests.)Would really appreciate some clarification here, thank you!

Hi all, What are the high level 7-8 steps involved in AEM and Target Integration.Please include summary of each step and a link. Also, what is the role of Adobe I/O in this Integration?My understanding is that Adobe I/O is used mainly for the Integration of Adobe Marketing Cloud products with external applications.Not sure of its usage within and among Adobe Marketing Cloud products. I highly appreciate all your replies. Thanks,RK.

Hi Everyone, We have MFE component exported in Target as an Offer from AEM. While adding this MFE component in activity there no content showing of MFE, but when we live the activity and load the page it's showing.My question is why MFE component is not showing while creating the activity in compose mode or browse mode? Regards,Devakrishna

I want to dispatch a custom event from Adobe Target, once the Adobe Target Activity has been fully loaded on the DOM. (For example an Experience Fragment from Adobe Target replacing an AEM XF, and dispatchEvent should be triggered only once this is completed)From AEM end, then the code will listen to this custom event and start processing something.I've already tried adding a script from Adobe Target like this, but it didn't work as I expected.Appreciate any advice on this. <script> window.onload = function() { const event = new Event("targetContentLoaded"); window.dispatchEvent(event); } </script>
