Adobe Target

Hi everyone,I just ran into an implementation of Target and Adobe Tags/Launch where the actual Tags script is being invoked from GTM (yes, from Google Tag Manager). So basically a tag in GTM is injecting the Tags script into the page.What I am wondering is:1) How much of an impact or what unintended consequences can I expect from such an implementation?2) If I happen to have rules in Tags configured run WebSDK calls to send data to the Edge Network and then to AEP, should I expect a significant delay in those calls?3) How would this type of implementation affect other Adobe products running from Tags, such as Target?4) Are there any official Adobe document that recommends staying away of this configuration where one tag manager is calling another tag manager, not as a temporary solution, but for a long term production environment?Any guidance would be really appreciated!

Is there any way to make a copy of A/B test into XT test? OR if I want to convert A/B test into XT what will be the best way other than manually doing it?Thanks,Gauresh Kodag

Hi Everyone, I have an Angular application and I am running an XT activity on a page that has a section that is 3 cards in a row. Each of these cards is a link to another page. Each of the cards also has a click event binding to run a pre-defined function if/when a user clicks on any of the 3 cards. On the original page (before any personalization is applied) the click event binding works as expected, with the pre-defined function running as it should. However when I use the XT activity to change only the order of the cards and navigate to the page (while activity is live and personalization is applied) when I click one of the cards, the click event binding is no longer firing the pre-defined function.How can I ensure that, when I use this activity, the click event bindings still work as they should?

Trying to test two "checkout" flows – the original which is super lengthy consisting of several pages and a more streamlined variation with half the pages. How would I set this up?

Hi everyone, I'm having a problem with an ab test. After implementing the content via the "insert after" option and sending my activity live, in some cases the content appears duplicated.This can be resolved by deleting cookies.  The <div> tags that target adds have different action_content ids for individual ab test versions. How can I solve the problem?Thank you

I have an experiment where, upon log-in, 10% of a group of customers will see a new experience. I have a custom audience rule that looks for "hasactivehealthplan" equals True, which is a value that the site applies to relevant customers. However, Target is firing before the website sets this value, so it thinks everyone is an "activehealthplan=False", meaning no one is getting to see the experiment. Is there a way to delay Target so that it waits until "hasactivehealthplan" values are set? I think it's only like a 5 second delay...

I am trying to configure A4T on a Sandbox Target.When I try to edit an activity in Target, it says "Target is the only reporting source available. Please make sure you have Analytics or Customer Journey Analytics enabled in order to be able to use it as a reporting source instead"I go to Administration -> Reporting and try to find A4T-related items, but there are none. I don't see them on the other tabs, either.I have access to Adobe Analytics, and I am an Approver in Target. They are both added as extensions to Adobe Launch, together with "Experience Cloud ID Service". I created a report suite in AA, and the application is sending data there.Could you please suggest what I should do to enable A4T? 

I’m trying to track conversions on a website using WebSDK, so that we can feed purchase behavior into the recommendation algorithms for “..bought this, bought that”, etc. I was reviewing the implementation guide here https://docs.mktossl.com/docs/target-dev/developer/recommendations.html?lang=en, specifically the Track conversion page here https://docs.mktossl.com/docs/target-dev/developer/client-side/at-js-implementation/deploy-at-js/implement-target-without-a-tag-manager.html?lang=en#track-conversions, but the code referenced is for at.js and not WebSDK. I also checked this page WebSDK comparision to at.js - https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-platform/edge/personalization/adobe-target/web-sdk-atjs-comparison.html?lang=en#using-web-sdk-4, but it’s not clear in this documentation how this would function in the context of order confirmation? Hello Team,We are currently working on a proof of concept (POC) where we intend to use the AEP audience and profile attribute in Adobe Target. We plan to consume the audience and profile attributes in an m-box, which will be consumed for a mobile app using API.However, we are having difficulties using the delivery API to call such mbox, which uses AEP audience and returns profile attributes. We've noticed that such AEP audience reflects as platform segments rather than actual attributes. Could you please guide us on whether the delivery API supports the AEP audience and returns AEP profile attributes? If not, would we need to explore any other API (AEP Web SDK) to accomplish this?Thanks.

I only see page views, average time on site, and custom scoring populating as the possible engagement metrics to be added to this test, and I need to track the bounce rate as well. I can't use AA as the reporting source for AP tests, so I am seeking best ways to track with target.

Hi , I have a scenario where there are 6 audiences , all 6 audiences are overlapped with each-other. example: There are bath,tools, power, hardware ,floor, electric these are 6 audiences. Bath audience is having other audiences with 80% overlap , similatly tools audience is having 80% over lap with other 5 audiences etc.So, Now i am working on creating AB test where bath audience should see bath page, tools audience should see tools page and so on.Can anyone explain me the rules to create AB test in adobe target.Currently i am working on rule (if bath audience or (bath audience  and tools audience and power audience )will it work in AB test? I have one more issue with AB test is even if i am adding multiple audiences, bath is having all audiences, tools is having all audience .... and so on.Please suggest a good solution for this type of scenario . Thank you

Hello,Looking for some support/insight from anyone that has utilized the Auto-Target feature within an A/B test. My test has been running for quite some time and I've reached the necessarily visitors and conversions levels needed for my algorithms to begin learning, 1,000 visits and 50 conversions (7,000 overall visits and 350 overall conversions) as I understand them. However, my reporting is still stating that the models have not been built yet - as indicated by the clock icon still next to my experiences. I'm also not seeing the Important Attributes report nor the Automated segment reports that are supposed to come along with this tool....presumably because the models are still being indicated as not finalize yet? This test has been running for over 80 days and it seems to be collecting the right information, but no models and no reports yet, any ideas? Are the experiences just too similar for the AI to pick up anything and create a model from? Appreciate any thoughts or commen

I am encountering challenges with the implementation of "user.endpoint.lastPurchasedEntity" using the Web SDK via tags in Adobe Target. My approach involves creating a new XDM (Experience Data Model) object and integrating it within a 'send event' function.Within this XDM object in the 'send event', I am including several key elements:'priceTotal' and 'purchaseID' within the commerce field.Setting the 'purchases' value to 1.Integrating an identity map.Adding 'productListItems'. Despite closely following the Adobe documentation (Adobe Experience League), I am not seeing the desired result. The 'lastPurchasedEntity' is not being reflected in the user profile as it did when I was using at.js, where parameters such as orderId, orderTotal, and productPurchasedId were passed effortlessly. I would greatly appreciate any insights or advice on setting up these features correctly using the Web SDK.Thank you very much for your assistance.

As a new user with full permissions, I've run into a problem where the top menu seems to disappear when I navigate to the Recommendations page. Additionally, none of the items in the sidebar menu are clickable.To add to the difficulty, when I attempt to create a Recommendation activity, the page fails to load entirely. This has been a persistent issue from the first time I accessed this environment. I've verified that I have the appropriate permissions, but the problem persists.Has anyone faced a similar issue, and if so, how was it resolved?

I am testing a new experience for our logged-in section. When a customer logs in, 10% of traffic is going to see a new version of the homepage. I am setting up the test to redirect to new URL which is all good. However, the customer can opt to navigate to the control version of the homepage. I'm concerned that if they try to do that, the redirect will come into play again. Is there a way to use a profile script to ensure the customer only sees the test version once per session? Thanks in advance...profile scripts are my Kryptonite! 😞 

Hi All, We are trying to deliver a test using server side delivery API - Everything points to the test being delivered correctly. We are able to see the Visitors for both Experience A and Experience B. We checked internally in our elastic tool analytics reporting and verified both the experiences are getting traffic. However, we are not able to see any movement on Conversion Rate. We used Adobe Target as the reporting source and used conversion metric of a page view with URL contains condition. What could be the reason why we don't see any changes in the conversion rate? If it helps, we have implemented Target using Adobe Launch through the Target extension.  

In our web app we're working on adding an integration with Adobe Target. we'd like our users to grant access to their Target account through OAuth 2 flow. currently on Adobe developer console there's only server-to-server oauth. please help

I have an Adobe XT experience where there are two experiences.  Region1 - which is a zip code based Audience and Region2, everyone else.I tried adding my home zipcode into the targeting of Region1, but it didn't load.  The ?mboxEdit='MBOX NAME' didn't work. Is there another way to make sure the XT is loading correctly for site users?

Hi, I'm workin' on experience targeting. I was wondering if is possible to create activities using json xf offers or if it's necessary to create json offer instead. I've tried with an experience fragment exported from aem to target in json xf, but when it's time to chose the offer I no longer can see it in my offer library. Also if is not possible to use a json xf offer, can someone tell me how to create a json offer? documentation doesn't help. thank u all
