Adobe Target

Hi all,   As segments can be created in different systems to be personalized by Adobe Target, I have the following queries- 1. Let's say I define segments based on user behaviors on the website and the most appropriate system for such usecase will be Adobe Analytics. If we publish this segment to Experience cloud, it will be available in all Adobe experience cloud systems, including Target. This segment can then be used to create an activity in Target to personalize the experience. So far so good. Now what I don't get is in which system is visitor segment evaluated based on the rule- In my opinion, it should be Adobe Analytics. And if it is Adobe analytics, how is this visitor segment information received by target- is the whole data replicated to Target or Target calls Adobe Analytics based on some UID e.g. ECID and gets the segment first and then evaluates the activity rules? 2. Hi! I am trying to create an audience for an XT which includes a profile script. The audience will show a certain menu to users who visit the site with ?att=ps6260 as a parameter in their URL, and the profile script needs to then serve the same experience to users who return to the site but this time without the URL attribute (but who had it on their previous visit) I've found this for URL attributes, but I think this one is just applying the URL parameter to all pages of a visit, not storing it from a previous visit:   if (page.query.indexOf('att=ps6260') > -1) {return 1;}else{if (!user.get('BCorp_return_visitor')) {return 0;}}   Any help would be very much appreciated!! 🙂 

Hi, I know how to use the A/B tests on mobile native apps. But is it possible to run Multivariate Test on (iOS/Android) mobile apps? 

There are many workspaces created in my organization and lot of users are added into Default workspace. Please suggest a best practice to maintain the workspaces and audiences in an optimal way.    Thanks

At current, we need to either combine multiple segments or specific segments to personalised experiences. With demand for personalisation evolving, we sometime want to have a list of audiences that can be ranked in Audience targeting to switch between experiences within one activity. is there anything in-coming that will allow us to do so?

We are just starting with Adobe Target within our digital experiences.  I'm interested if anyone has feedback on where to start (prioritization tips for first implementation) and/or any key learnings for establishing an Adobe Target / Personalization practice within our organization.   

In Chrome, I'm receiving a VEC error when creating an activity saying the page was refused by the server. I'm able to create activities with no issues in Firefox and Edge. See attached screenshot.

Dear Team,We have implemented Target using Asynchronous Launch.As per the link : https://docs.adobelaunch.com/extension-reference/adobe-extensions/adobe-target-extension , if we use Asynchronous way to push Target through the Launch, we need to add Pre-hiding snippet. We have done the same, but after the addition of Pre-hiding snippet our page goes blank for few seconds and then loads.Do we have any solution to fix this? Kindly adviceThank YouArun

Hi,    I´m currently doing an Experience Target Acivity in Adobe Target making available an Exit Intent Pop-Up on a especific page, to my website users.     The experience is triggering well, but I would like to establish a combined Goal Metric that gives me the number of users that click on the pop-up and also view a success page.    When I´m creating a "Primary Goal" > "Conversion" in Adobe Target I only can choose: "Viewed a page" or "Viewed an Mbox" or "Clicked an element".    Instead of choosing one isolated Primary Goal, I want to choose a combined conversion goal - i.e.. "Click an element and Viewed a page".    Can anyone help me how can i set up a combined goal like this in Adobe Target?    Thank you all.     João

Hi, As per my understanding, profile attribute will replace the old value and keep only the most recent ones. Is there any way to append old with new values. for eg:day1, we display banner1 and user not interested then captures the value in new profile attribute profile.exclusion = "banner1clicked"on day2, we display banner and user not interested then captures the banner 2 value in new profile attribute profile.exclusion = "banner2clicked". With this, it will replace the day1 value instead of appending. But, i'm looking profile.exclusion = "banner1clicked,banner2clicked" so that we can apply this profile attribute in the exclusion to avoid showing these banner when user logs in next time. Any thoughts? 

Hello,    We have ran into an issue where older pages that have been deleted, removed, or forward to another page now are still showing up in the products collections. I thought I could exclude based on thumbnail being broken but the old thumbnail URL is still present. Any other ideas on how to get these old missing pages out of Target Rec's? 

I am trying to set up an A/B activity to move a form higher on the page. I am selecting the section with the form -> layout -> rearrange and moving it to the new position. Everything looks good in the Experience editor, but when I go to QA, the form shows up twice in the new location (screengrab below.) Has anyone experienced a similar issue and been able to fix it?  I have tried using the move tool and adding the form code to the page, but both have the same issue. Thanks,Erin 

I have installed version 2.8.1  AT.js script  (not using Launch). The error I am getting is:  "request failed Error: Errors: sessionId query parameter is required" When I check the network request I can see that the sessionId is empty. However, the sessionId is available in the cookie?  session#a2697fae040c457980a62a7cde5e651b#1646919668|PC#a2697fae040c457980a62a7cde5e651b.37_0#1710162608 How do I fix this? Thanks

Hello,Is it possible to (1) create an Activity that adds event handler that calls `adobe.target.triggerView()` (Custom Code Modification), and then (2) create another Activity that uses this View in the VEC (like you would for any SPA)? Or is it strictly necessary that triggerView() be added in the SPA/code base itself outside of Target? I have tried using the QA link for Activity 1 when creating Activity 2 but without success.

Are there any examples of using Adobe Target for "New Feature Walkthroughs"?  Ideally this would be a user logging into a site which integrates with Target.  The site just released a new feature, and we want to introduce that customer to the new feature.  If the user dismisses it, or logs in again, we don't want them to see that feature walkthrough again.

Hi All,   I am trying to implement Opt-In on the website and at_check cookie is configured as Analytical cookies category in OneTrust configuration. I can see the at_check cookie gets created automatically when the user loads the website. It doesn't wait for the consent to be accepted. In Data collection, we have added the extension (Adobe Target) and enabled "Opt-In" from the configuration. I have referred many documentations from Adobe already and didn't get any convincing reason. Please help here.   Thanks for looking my query in advance!

Hoping someone can lend their past experience here. We are planning to use Target Recommendations for page-based content recommendations (not "products" per se) and are wondering what approaches others have used to manage removal of pages/products from the catalog when they get deleted in the CMS (we are using AEM). We are using the data layer implementation approach with targetPageParams to populate the Recommendations catalog.

Dear all,   I have an Adobe Target server-side implementation with different mbox id in page, each corresponding to different locations within a page (e.g. header, hero banner, product card, footer...) but differing only for each location and not for each page (i.e. the mbox id for header has the same name for page A and page B).   If I want to make a Target activity in the hero banner for one page only (and not on the other pages, so on page A only, and not on page B), how can I make Target to know to do the activity on hero banner of page A only? Do the standard Target audience rules work in Server Side and without Target library on page? Any idea on how to go for this use case?

Dear community,   I'd like to use AT A/B test on my SPA page by replacing experience fragment. But after replacing content with experience fragment exported to AT Offer. The block goes blank since the html of XF offer has become the <head> content instead of its original html. Does anyone know how to deal with this issue? Thanks in advance!   Here are the things I've done. 1. Set XF cloud service property 2. Export them onto AT Offers 3. Replace content with XF Then I got a blank block since the html is not the content I put in XF.
