Adobe Target

Hello, We are currently leveraging Customer Attributes for Target. We set the ID via the ECID services (visitor.js). We are looking at migrating to the Web SDK (alloy.js).   I understand the concept of Identity Maps using the SDK. However, I want to ensure that Customer Attributes will continue to function as expected for Target. For example, say I have a Customer Attributes setup with an integration code of "customUserId". I am currently using the ECID Extension in Launch to set this ID using the "Set Customer IDs" Action and "customUserId" integration code. If I create a custom namespace matching the integration code from Customer Attributes ("customUserId") and, using the SDK, set the ID under the "customUserId" namespace of the indentityMap, will the Customer Attributes data continue to be available in Target? That is, is there a more or less direct migration path from the "Integration Codes" in the ECID extension to Identity Maps in the SDK/AEP?   Thanks.

Hello,   I'm trying to build an audience in Adobe Target that consists only of people who are visiting our website directly by typing in our URL or using a bookmark. Previous answers to this question on this forum were vague and inconclusive.    Which audience attributes could I use? None of them reflect direct traffic.

Hi We have published AB Test a month ago and the report shows version A more displayed than B with a significative gap (75 vs 25 on 100 visits). How to explain this behavior since the activity is set with a 50/50 split. Can it be resolved automaticaly with an additionnal month running with same quantity of visits ? Can it be forced to get more or less same number of impression at the end ? Thx

Hi, I am new to Adobe Target. I have done the direct integration of AEM with Adobe Target with out using launch, I have used IMS config. Then we created few activities and used audiences like Users from India, Chrome Users etc. and made the changes in webpages respective to audience. After activating the Activities when we check using Activity QA URL we don't see the changes according to the audience. We see mbox call in network tab and its not failing, no console errors. AtJs is loading. Are we missing something here? due to which we are able to see personalized content.

I reviewed my QA links and believe I am ready for "Activate".   Will clicking "Activate" throw any errors? What other safeguards might Adobe Target have? Or does it launch the test no matter what?

What would be the best way to launch five personalized experiences, evaluate them after a given amount of time, and then cycle in two new experiences to replace the worse performing?  I am thinking about continuously improving personalized experiences this way by adding new content in cycles after removing poor performing content.   How can I know which experiences are performing the worse?  How long should the periods be for each cycle?  Would this concept work in the first place?

Hi All, I was performing some checks on the categorisation of cookies and wanted to know if Adobe target cookies fall under which category. We have these categories - Essential cookies,  Analytical cookies, Functional cookies, and Advertising cookies. I am doubtful if it will fall under Essential cookies OR Analytical cookies and hence looking for some help from the community.   My query is specifically for at_check and mbox cookies.   Any guidance or pointers would be really appreciated!

I want to hide certain experience for 30 days from a user on click of a button (say no thanks). I want activity to reappear after 30 days for the same user. I can do it easliy via cookie code but I want to use the profileScript capablity here.    Any help highly appricated. 

Hi Team,   We have to recommend the products on the website which were most bought in their geo location. For E.g ABC is a most bought product in US but not in UK so we have to recommend ABC product for US visitors as Top Sellers but not for UK visitors. orderConfirmMbox doesnt take params other than id, total, productPurchasedId so could not pass the user country info in the orderConfirmMbox. Trigerring user's country location in the entity mbox could help in this? Any suggestions around this would be really helpful .

Hi Team,   we have used Recently Viewed User Based criteria in one of our recommendations activity.   Expectations : After viewing few products on the website. When a visitor comes back to website, the visitor should get the recently viewed products. Please note, entityId is triggering on each and every product page.   Scenario 1 : We tested this after we viewed and closed the products page after 30 minutes of inactivity of product pages. We viewed the product  in different tab but same browser. This way each viewed product had different sessionIds   Scenario 2 : We tested this in same browser and same tab and closed the browser after viewing each product. We did not wait for 30 mins of inactivity.   In both scenarios. returned products were not the one we viewed. Every user is getting the same set of products recommended no matter what they  view.   I am not able to understand this behaviour. Can someone advise me something on this ?   Than

Hi team,   When you use the AEP Web SDK to collect data and get it forwarded to both Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target, does the ML (Auto-Target) algorithm automatically evaluate the XDM fields/values we're sending to the Edge or do we have to explicitly pass (someof ) them as page or profile parameters?   Thank you! Hi All, I am not good at English, so I apologize if there are any inappropriate expressions.   I am now in charge of AB testing with Adobe Target and transferring winning patterns to AEM, but I don't understand the functionality well. I would really appreciate it if you could answer the following.   [1] Am I correct in understanding that there are two methods of AB testing, one is to change the screen using GUI and the other is to add code to change the screen?(Is this the same as what you can do with Google Optimize?)   [2] What methods are available to reflect tests performed in Adobe Target in AEM? Example.1. porting the source code of the changes made in Adobe Target to AEM2. the content of the tests performed in Adobe Taget is automatically migrated to AEM when the "Apply to production" button or something is pressed.   I would like to know how to migrate to the AEM site.   [3] I would like to know how to look back at the results of tests conducted in Adob

Hello everyone,   is there any possible way to upload the data from the external database (let's say in .csv or .xml format) the data I could possibly use in personalizations created in Adobe Target? I do not mean the segments creation, but rather dynamically changing banners, prices etc. depending on the changes in the offer.   If it is possible, then how can I upload the data? Is there any place on the platform where I could store that kind of data? Is it possible to somehow schedule the data updates?

can we use set interval in adobe target profile scripts

Hi there,I have chosen 'time on site' as conversion goal for my activity. Looking at the report, it shows me 3 reporting values. I am not sure what they mean. Cannot find information on this for Adobe Target, only for Adobe Analytics which seem to be different. Would be great to find out whether the time on site is measured in seconds, is it average or total for all conversions; whats the bottom number?Thank you. Meike    

Hi,   Does Adobe Target Recommendation support importing of multiple feeds, each has the same product SKUs, but names and categories are in different languages? Such as: Feed 1: contains items for DE language. Feed 2: contains items for ES language. Feed 3: contains items for FR language. All of the above feeds have the same items, meaning we can find ids as ITEM.A to ITEM.Z for all feeds, but their names differ for each one. Is there a way to import language specific feed without overriding existing items?

Hi Team,   This recommendation activity is using criteria user based > Recently Viewed Items. The issue is it doesn't return the recommendations. I have some custom visitor profile attributes set up in Target audiences and I am trying to figure out within the adobe debugger or developer tools on the browser how can I validate and see what profile attributes I qualify for when going to a webpage?   Thanks, ~John
