Description - Ability to upload doc in Updates section but choose which document folder it needs to be stored in. This will create a link from the updates tab to documents in case you wanted to quickly view it from the updates tab and it will still be housed in the documents section.Why is this feature important to you - this will give everyone a place to make comments and upload the document in one section, saving the team time.How would you like the feature to work - you would make a comment in the updates section and then choose to upload a file with a drop down to the specific folder you want it housed.Current Behaviour - only PNG's and JPEG are allowed to be uploaded into the updates tab, no PDF's Thank you!
Description - Updates Tab - Subject Line NeededWhy is this feature important to you - the updates tab is very messy with threads without subject lines, it would be very beneficial to have more thread like conversations with subject lines.How would you like the feature to work - same as it does today but allow for subject lines for easier tracking/searching conversations.Current Behaviour - updates do not give a subject line feature.
Currently there are the following 2 options within the segment builder:Only Before SequenceOnly After Sequence (which actually seems include the sequence itself as well)Although these are a welcome improvement they don't allow enough flexibility to really be able to drive the maximum value out of the solution (which means we don't use it as much as we should).I would like to see the 2 options replaced with the following 5 option:Before the sequence (excluding the sequence itself)Before the sequence (including the sequence itself)The sequence (everything between the start and end of the sequence)After the sequence (excluding the sequence itself)After the sequence (including the sequence itself)I think these would be a logic and useful extension of the existing functionality which would significantly increase the value of the capability - please can this be considered?
Description - Project Metrics show a graph and summary of tasks that are complete, delayed, in progress, etc. It would be better if the administrator or the Project owner had an option to customize it so that we can share it with our clients with more informationWhy is this feature important to you - So that it would be beneficial to use it in reporting aside from using our own dashboardHow would you like the feature to work - Option to change the color of the bars, change the columns that we can see when we click on the bar, add more important stats.Current Behaviour -As per above.
Description - Today I learned (TIL) that there is a character limit on the description field for a Job Role. I can live with the character limit, however when I first ran into it, Workfront didn't deliver a clear message describing that there was a limit.Why is this feature important to you - The world is a happier place with clear error messages. It's frustrating when you receive little to no guidance on what went wrong or how to fix it.How would you like the feature to work - Apply a popup message that says something like, "Your description cannot be more than x characters."Current Behaviour - When editing the description of a job role in-line and you reach the character limit, the only indication that you have done anything wrong is a read line around the box with a tiny red exclamation mark (see screenshot). When editing the description of a job role in the Edit form, then try to save your changes, you receive a more clear error popup (see second screenshot).
Description - Create project interdependencies through tasks without deleting the tasks Why is this feature important to you - A proper solution would avoid redundant issue creations and demonstrate relationships between projects better. It may also provide ability to visualize dependencies in an easy to understand way. How would you like the feature to work - The task not be deleted from the task list after its conversion to a project, or create the ability to relate a task to a project. Current Behaviour - The only means to create relationships is through issues. When a task is converted to a project, the task is deleted from the task list.
Description - When creating a request, it would be essential for our marketing department to be able to add user with the external user access level to the primary contact of the request. Currently we are unable to add users that are external users.Why is this feature important to you - This is important for our marketing department because we work hand in hand with partner/sister cities on marketing needs, workflow and approvals.How would you like the feature to work - We would like to see the external users access level users populated in the drop down of Primary and Secondary contacts fields.Current Behaviour - Currently only internal or users with an access level above external users are populating.
Description - Please provide ability for creating reports on changes in time done to a default or custom filed on the custom forms.Why is this feature important to you -it makes it possible to track changes in time for particular fields on the forms. How would you like the feature to work - More fields being available for the Updates through reports so that historical versions of field value changes can be pulled on a dashboard or in reports. Current Behaviour - Very limited number of fields are available to pull historical data on.

Description - quick action of adding a document does not allow you to tag people, this should work just like it does within the documents section.Why is this feature important to you - this feature will save our whole team time from not having to drill into the project then documents then folder using the quick action featureHow would you like the feature to work - this should work like tagging within a document just allow you to tag during a quick action Current Behaviour - Quick actions will allow you to add a document but not tag anyone- what is the point if we can't notify.
Description -Add the ability to set Microsoft Purview sensitivity labels for documents from within Workfront.Why is this feature important to you -Our organization is requiring all documents within our agency to have a sensitivity level, and be able to set this within Workfront would save time. See more information about these sensitivity labels here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/purview/sensitivity-labels How would you like the feature to work -Ideally we'd be able to set the sensitivity label of each document in the 'Documents' tab of a request or project. Current Behaviour -This is not supported in Workfront.

We have dozens of web services making REST API calls into our Marketo instance on a daily basis. Getting "web service error" notifications is great, but they aren't actionable at all for us since we have no way of knowing which web service / api user is making the calls that are failing. Having the API user included in these notifications would enable us to quickly troubleshoot. Having to reach out to Marketo support every time one of these errors comes up is ridiculous.
