Build better products with our product team
We use listVars that expire on Visit. In Reports & Analytics, we can use "Instances" to measure when the variable was actually set. This metric isn't available in Workspace. As we want to use 100% Workspace in the future, it would be great to have the full functionality of the old reporting available in Workspace as well. So: Please give us Instances for listVars in Workspace. :-)
It seems that more time is invested in Virtual Report Suites (VRS).It would be nice to be able to set up a VRS with a customized calendar to mimic fiscal patterns or mon-sun weeks. Basically the option you have right now within the report suite settings but then through a VRS and (if possible) retroactively.
We are making extensive use of virtual report suites to manage the way we share & present data throughout our organisation. However, the lack of support for Data Sources potentially wreaks havoc on our carefully planned virtual report suites strategy. The problem is that every time a user requires access to the data uploaded via data sources (e.g. e-mail sent, opened, bounced etc.) we have to open up access to the underlying report suite completely bypassing our carefully curated virtual report suites. Please can you consider adding support for Data Sources to Virtual Report Suites?
In Adobe Analytics the Character limit of PageName is 100 bytesReference:https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/sc/implement/pageName.html If PageName exceeds the limit, it gets to strip off so increase the limit upto 255(characters)
A Flow visualization can get a little difficult to handle after the user switches from one dimension to another. One dimension:Very clean and aligned with what I clicked. Page Type = Product Details is expanded into all the next Page Types. But as soon as I switch dimensions in the right-most column to Product (to analyze what products were being accessed), I get into trouble:Each value that was shown in the Page Type column is now expanded into the Product dimension column: Product Details, Department, Search Results, Shopping Cart, and Home. To continue my analysis, I have to click everything but Product Details.I'd love to be able to right-click on one of the values in Page Type to focus on paths that go through that Product Details item only:
When using If condition in calculated metric formula, the unsatisfied values need to be set to '0'.These line items still show up in the report with zero value and there is no option to have them excluded by default. The most is to display the zero as no value. However, copying these values or extracting them still copies over the underlying zero value and the report it self show these line items.Example calculated metric:This is how the current setup shows the data with the two options available:Ask: Change the checkbox for interpreting the zero to radio buttons and provide the extra option to exclude values which are having zeroes against them in all columnsAdditional Ask: If this is idea is implemented, it would be a good idea to show only the total for the qualifying data at the top of the column and not site-wide total.
Current Issue: Right now, users (non-Admins) are limited to being able to share items (projects, segments, calculated metrics) to individual users one at a time. This means that if a user wants to share out an item to their entire team, then have to manually "check the box" for each individual team member at a time. When accounts have 100's of users to select from, this is quite a laggy process and time consuming, and not the most efficient or streamlined method. Only Admins have the ability to share items to user groups, which is not efficient either.Proposed Idea/Solution: All users should the ability to share out items (projects, segments, calculated metrics) to their entire user group (team). Users will be empowered to share items to their teams, which will save them time, and enable team collaboration. This will de-centralize the functionality so that users don't have to ask Admins to share out components to their user group. Please note that users should only be able to share out items to user groups that they are member of, so that they don't spam other team's items. This is somewhat similar to the request here: Allow Non-Admin Users to share Components with configured Groups However I want to extend it beyond components to also encompass sharing workspace projectsBenefit:This will greatly increase the team collaboration and help enable all users of the Adobe platform with more streamlined collaboration.
Working with complex segments and calculated metrics that contain many nested containers and may take a few screens, it's quite often when I move or add something into a wrong place. Sometimes the recovery may take longer than making everything from scratch. The Undo feature (Cmd+Z, Ctrl+Z) would be extremely helpful if supported in the Metric Builder and Segment Builder UI.
Currently, the Analysis Workspace auto-generated conditional formatting feature doesn't work very well. If you have a large date range with various metrics, it doesn't dynamically change or adjust to changes. Often times you have to use the manual feature to sett upper and lower bounds.I'd like to see this feature work better so you can make changes and have the color schemes change dynamically. If that isn't possible, I'd like to have the ability to set the upper and lower bounds by using a formula that uses the same functions already available in Analysis Workspace.
I would like to have a way for Workfront to allow for a visual timeline of selected tasks and milestone. A graphical representation of those tasks selected. ‚ Timeline needs to answer: Portfolio wide, when are things ending? When can we start a project? A timeline for all the projects. A timeline for each separate project.
When inside of a task, ability to go back to the same location in the overall template view without having to scroll all the way back down (to a lower task, for example) Users are asking for some sort of functionality which brings them back to the last place (section) they have been rather than the default of back to the top. This behavior persists for projects/templates.
Task #'s don't pull through by default when exporting - makes it difficult to reference when reviewing exported timelines.
Being able to click on an "Open Summary" preview (like you can in the Timeline level when you click on a task) at the reporting-level (or other objects potentially) would make things much easier to be able to easily view and respond without having to leave the report view itself. (Rather than opening a new tab or having to go back to the report every time)
Looking for a way to control the default view setting so that timelines with more than 100 tasks automatically show all tasks without having to choose “all” from drop-down
The feature inside Analytics called Views Mobile Scorecard is a nice way to create mobile dashboard and it instructs curators of Adobe Analytics data on how to configure and present mobile scorecards for executive users. Video Tutorial: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/analytics-learn/tutorials/additional-tools/analytics-dashboards/adobe-analytics-dashboards-in-app-experience.html?lang=en Doc: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/analytics/analyze/mobapp/create-scorecard.html?lang=en Could you please implement this feature using Single Sign-On? At the moment this feature is not working with SSO. Benefits: Analytics users can use this feature with SSO
Anyone else find it strange that when you select specific folders to include in a report the old program icons are still used?
Part of Marketo Engage's platform involves encoding tracking email links so the platform can accurately associate email activity with records. However, the method that makes this work involves sending a 302 redirect link without any additional HTTP header content; it defaults to Cloudflare's standard instead. This makes it complicated for technical solution providers to determine safe 302 redirects from Adobe and more problematic unencoded 302 redirect links. Would it be possible to put a custom header for technology providers to check against? I'm thinking something as plain as "x-generated-by: adobe-marketo-engage" or similar; this is also straightforward to implement on the CF side.
