A/B Test Recipients

How does marketo determine which users receive the test email in an A/B test?  For example, if I decide to send 30% of my recipients the test and 70% the winning email, how can I tell which users are receiving which?

Hello @agrimm22 ,


I believe the question as asked is how to determine before the send who will get which email; not possible us to know the details.  On the back-end it might be a simple algorithm that creates smaller subsets of the overall audience; akin to using Random sample in flow steps.

 

After the send you would use the Test variant to see who got each version of the email.
