"Activity is Updated" trigger scenarios

Hello Community,

I am using the "activity is updated" trigger for a couple scenarios:

1. Activity is Updated

     Due Date: in past X days

Will this trigger successfully once the activity due date has passed? For example, the activity due date is 2/9/2017, so once the calendar date is 2/10/2017 and the activity due date is now "in past 1 day", will this "due date" update register as the activity being updated?

2. Activity is Updated

Will this trigger successfully if the activity is deleted altogether? Does the deletion register as the activity being updated?

Ran a couple tests and scenario 1 of the due date passing did not register as the due date "changing" and did not trigger the "activity is updated" trigger. Also scenario 2 of deleting the activity did not trigger the "activity is updated" trigger.

Ran a couple tests and scenario 1 of the due date passing did not register as the due date "changing" and did not trigger the "activity is updated" trigger. Also scenario 2 of deleting the activity did not trigger the "activity is updated" trigger.
