Add a filter to exclude US leads from a smart list

Hello,
 
I have a smart list for all leads. I need to send a distribution to this list but I need to exclude all US companies. Is there a filter that you could recommend?

Hi Christie,

You'll need to add a filter for country is not US to  exclude those lead records who belong in the US.

Hi Christie,

There are two scenarios in this case

Scenario 1: For New leads (never sent email to this leads)

this is scenario you have to the country field filled and follow  Michelle F recommedation

Scenario 2: For existing leads (sent atleast one email)

this is scenario you can use the "Inferred Country" filter to create a smart list, as this field will prefill the filled by marketing

Also, I'd recommend adding in different variations (because list loads and forms unfortuanately aren't too consistent). Ex: US; U.S.; United States... etc

If you have a list of companies in the US, you might also want to create a filter that says 'Company is not [those companies]'. I have found that some companies might be in the US but have employees in other countries. Just another thought on this topic! :)
