add blank alt text to images

Hello,

We are working on a template that is using some space imgs and are trying to add blank alt text to them, ie alt="". It seems that Marketo is stripping this out though when actually receiving a test email.  Is there any work around for that?

We need the alt="" to remain in the code for accessibility purposes.
