Adding Emails vs Program on a Stream

Hello,

I wanted to get more details on the difference between adding a program vs. adding an email to a stream (see attached screen captures). I'm concerned this will affect the flow of the stream or how the statuses are captured.

The first send I did was a program, as it was one email in English for everyone. Now, I've created a new email with dynamic content so I want to specifically add that email to the stream, and not the whole program. How will this affect the statuses?

Does anyone have more info on this? Much appreciated!

Adding mixed assets in a stream will not have any effect on how Marketo Engagement program works.

But its not always recommended to have mixed assets in a single stream.

Generally avoid using Programs in Engagement programs. It is rarely useful without RCE and even then I would argue it creates a ton of extra campaigns and complexity.
