Customers frequently request the ability to make a picklist type field directly in Marketo with <restricted> specified possible field values (regardless of current CRM integration).

      1. I'd call this an Enum type, not a picklist, since it removes the confusion of using display terminology.

      2. What happens if an API or other call attempts to insert a non-enum value?

        Hi Sanford,

        For the second point, we could have a setting that would enable either to accept a non-enum value or to accept it. In the first case, any way, it is possible to have a data management campaign that cleanses it...
