Any Email Flags Prevent Operational Emails From Being Sent?

Of these native Marketo email flags are there any which might prevent an Operational email from being sent?

  • Email Suspended (within past 24 hours)
  • Marketing Suspended
  • Blacklisted
  • Email Invalid
  • Unsubscribed

    Hi Jayson,

    From what I've seen

    Operational email will still send if:

    - Marketing Suspended

    - Unsubscribed

    - Email Suspended

    Operational email will not send if:

    - Blacklisted

    - Email Invalid

    An operational email will not work in case of email suspended (within 24 hours). It will Soft Bounce in that particular case. According to Marketo docs, Operational emails ignore Unsubscribed and Marketing Suspended statuses only.

      I was hoping there was a field to check to note when someone has requested no operational emails on a subscription page due to moving or no longer being in contact with a product. What could be a way around sending a required technical notice without stirring up the general unsubscribes since those people have requested no future mailing?
