Any update on forms 2.0 prefill for embedded forms?

There are several discussions on this topic already, but no one from Marketo has responded over the past several months.  So I'm starting a new discussion here (not to mention, it's very easy for a discussion topic to quickly get buried and have no visibility).  Can someone from Marketo please let us know when embedded forms will pre-populate with lead data of known leads?

Dan,

Prefill on forms embedded on an external site is not allowed generally as a security measure. You can get around it, and the developer's blog article here shows how to manually do this: http://developers.marketo.com/blog/external-page-prefill/ I can't speak for the Product team, but I doubt this functionality will be enabled by default. Progressive profiling will work, but prefill will not unless you manually enable it with the steps in that blog article

Unfortunately, there is no update about this. The only suggestion I have here is talking a look at this developer blog post:

Is this still the case? I thought that was the whole idea with forms 2.0, that we could have prefill and progressive profiling on non-marketo landing pages.....

Please say it aint so..

It is still officially the case, for sure.  There are, however, crafty ways to engineer this functionality.  I demoed one of them at the NY MUG in August.  If you want to know more about it, follow me, then I'll follow back and you can PM me.  Or just hit me at sandy@figureone.com.

Would love an update too. It's keeping us from rolling out embedded forms 2.0.

Is this even technically feasible?
