Bi-Directional Custom Account Field Sync Working?

Hi Marketo Wizards,

Has anyone been able to get custom account fields to sync (bi-directionally with Salesforce)?

I remember being able to get this to work in a previous company, but a support member said that custom account fields are read only to Marketo.
Do custom account fields such as 'account status' only update in Marketo?

You need to request that bi-directional sync be enabled for the account object.

I had the account sync enabled at a previous company and yes, Marketo was able to see and manipulate custom fields. That was a few years ago though.

Not sure if I understand your question. What I know is that if there is a new custom object in SFDC, you have to refresh the schema under the Object Synch tab under Salesforce on the Admin section. You have to be an Admin to refresh schema.
