Business Case - Programs within Engagement Programs

Hi There;

We are accessing the benefits of adding programs to the streams of Engagement Programs.  Example:  We have a program that contains information for a webinar and would like to add in that program at the top of the Engagement program so that leads in the program get the contents of that program first before receiving the remaining emails in the stream. 

Are there other Business Cases were adding program to the Engagement Program is helpful?

Are there Business Cases examples where adding a program to the Engagement Program was not as helpful?

You may want to consider the following when looking to add a program to an engagement program:

  • When you have something that is time sensitive
  • When you want to limit the audience (smart list) of who will receive an email
  • A very complex involved program
  • Ease of cloning and adding to enablement program
  • Multi-touch attribution
  • No chance of emailing twice to a contact

When not to add a program to an engagement program:

  • When you have a Email Send program, you would need to use champion/challenger
