Can from email domain and landing page CNAME be the same?

I'm wondering if I can have the same"subdomain" for the landing page and "from email" domain?

For example, our landing page domain is hello.companydomain.com. Can I set up email from domain the same?

Short answer: No.

 

Long answer: same reason From: domains and Branding domains can’t be the same.
