Can you cc on an email?

Are you able to cc on an email. We are sending an emial to a large group and need to have people in our company cc'd.  If not, what alternatives are there?

    Be aware that Opens, Clicks and interactions from the person who was cc'd will be logged as activity on the account of the actual receiver of the email.  Make sure your Sales and Marketing team are aware of this as it could greatly skew results.

    • If a CC recipient clicks a tracked link in the email, click activity (like all other engagement activity) will be associated with the email's main recipient. Additionally, they may click through to a page with Marketo’s web tracking code (munchkin.js), causing them to be cookied as the main recipient.

    Also if you cc the Lead Owner and there is 100 people in the send list that he owns then he will receive 100 emails.

          Hi, it's great we've got the functionality. But maybe I'm missing something...how would you use this new functionality? What's the benefit?

            There is an idea on the Community requesting this feature that you can vote on (if you have not already): Ability to CC people on "Send Email" flow action

              I dont believe you can cc an email. We typically use a persons name and the reply to email as the generic marketing email that I have set up in the system so multiple people get the responses. You ask your IT team to create some email addresses for you and make sure he sets up a fwd for the email replies to go ot you and the other people you would like to cc.

                You aren't able to CC or BCC on an email; you can only set a Reply-To and From address.

                If the people exist as a lead in Marketo, you can add them to the Smart List when sending the email. Include an OR step for Email Address = _____

                You can also set up an alert for them or you can send the email to yourself and forward it to them.
