Can you schedule a Smart Campaign for recipients local time?

Hi,

We're setting up a nurture campaign that will email recipients in different time zones but the schedule for the campaign only seems to give the option to start based on our time, is it possible to have the emails in the flow sent based on the recipients local timezone?

Thanks

Trevor

Using recipient time zone in Marketo smart campaign is not possible as of now, but there's already an idea submitted here.

You can create separate send campaigns for sending the emails for different time zones, but that may take a little lift to setup.

You can however use the recipient time zone available OOTB in the engagement and email programs.

Thanks, seems like a simple thing that they've missed but hopefully it will be implemented soon.

Well, a Marketo smart campaign has dozens of other flow steps that in most cases do not need the processing of leads in their respective time zones, for sending email in recipient time zone as I said earlier - Marketo has recipient time zone feature in Email program and engagement programs (the asset in the stream needs to be email for using the recipient time zone). 🙂
