Can you see which leads have opened your emails most frequently?

Hi all,

I was posed a question today about figuring out the most devoted readers of our newsletter. Is there a way to see in Marketo which leads have opened or clicked in our emails the most amount of times? I'm guessing this could be a report?

Thanks for any help.

Gabriele,

To receive more visibility and a quicker response, please move this post to Products, as Marketing Central is meant for marketing-general topics, not Marketo specific.

As for your question, yes, what you can do is create a smart list with the filter of "opened email" or "clicked link in email" and choose the constraint "minimum number of times". You can start with a high number (ex. 10) and then adjust the constraint accordingly to capture those who have opened or clicked the most.

Make a note that not all opens and clicks are committed by the actual recipient of the email, and that the recipient's server may have opened or clicked the email prior in order to combat spam and virus protection.

Hi Gabriele, if you want to see which people clicked different emails bring in the filter multiple times (once for each email). For example, if you have sent four emails in a row and you bring in the filter four times, you will then be able to see which people opened all four emails you have sent them.

Thank you Devraj! This is incredibly helpful. Would that apply to just one email specifically or could we apply it who's opened a whole folder of different email campaigns?

When you bring either filter in, it will default to "Email is" so you will adjust it to select a number of emails or use "Email is any" to have the filter apply to all emails in Design Studio or Marketing Activities.

And make sure you cancel out the default constraint of "Date of Activity".
