At the moment we download our list in the format tab delimited. Afterwards we import that list into excel and have to change the format of the column with phonenumbers from number to text.
Is there a way that we can change the column format already in Marketo.

It's Excel that's choosing the datatype, not Marketo.
There's no way to format the number in such a way that it would still look right in the Marketo UI but be shown in Excel as text. That is, you can add a "=" at the beginning of the Phone which Excel appears to interpret (and remove) — but then the Phone looks very wrong in Mkto.
