Change Program Status - backwards

Question

Is it possible in any way to manually move a person backwards to an earlier event program status as defined in the Channel editor in Admin.
In the case where someone has been accidentally progressed to a status, how can I revert and change them back?  Or do i need to delete them from the program an then re-add them back into the program?

Unfortunately you can't move them back to a previous status given the new status has higher value in step (Check your admin settings for that channel) than the previous status.

As a best practice, you should export the list of members you want. Then go ahead and remove them from your program via "Change Program Status" at the top and choose "Not in program". Later on, you can add them back to the program via a Smart Campaign and use Marketo Unique IDs that you exported earlier and change their status as per your need. Make sure you activate any campaign which is supposed to run on this status change or vice-versa.
