Create mail scenario by tracking opening of mails

Hello I need some help please.

 

We want to create a sequence of 5-6 mails.

- The first mail will be send to all person from liste.

- The seconde mail will be send only to the person who will not open the first mail.

- The 3d mail will be send to those who opened the 1st mail.

 

 But we tried do it with different smart campaign and it doesn't work. I have the impression that marketo can't track the opening on mail and it send the 2nd mail of remind to everyone, event if person opened the 1st mail.

 

Can you help us please, because we wanted personalise our mail scenario and track opening of mails.

Hello @daria_kropyvian,

Depending on your needs (whether you need multiple campaigns or just 1).

 

One example

  • 1st campaign send email . 
    • Flow step1 -> send email 1
    • Flow step2 -> wait A
    • Flow step3 -> Send email #2 if  Not opened email #1; default do nothing
    • Flow step4 -> wait B
    • Flow step5 -> Send email #3 if Opened email #1 ; default do nothing
    • etc
    • etc

    Thk Oz_Platero for your answer but I tried these flows yet. It doesn't work.

    I sent the first mail and I didn't open it. 

    And even if I didn't open the first mail, Marketo did't send me the 2 mail for relaunch but it sent me a mail 3 which must be send if the mail 1 was opened. 

    I didn't know how to do.
