Currency field type rounding rules

Does the Currency field type automatically round off to a certain digit? I can't find any official documentation from Marketo that talks to those specifics.

So there is no rounding left of the decimal done by Marketo? I'm having an issue with data passing from our CRM system and it's rounding down in Marketo (i.e. $1,200,500,600.29 in CRM turned into 1,200,500,000).
