We recently integrated Cvent with Marketo. Cvent made us believe on multiple calls that the sync was bidirectional. In practice it appears that we can only send data from Cvent into Marketo and not from Marketo to Cvent.
We were hoping to automatically register people in Cvent when they registered in Marketo and then update their status in Marketo if they attended.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
@GregDowse, here's the Marketo - Cevent integration document; there's a chance things in it might have gone absolute, but if not, the document mentions that you can import people from a Marketo's list to Cevent by mentioning the static list ID in the Cevent. Also, the document doesn't mention the integration's capability to sync people to Cevent based on the progression status updates in Marketo, like other event platforms.
