Deleting Dead Leads - Will that impact past campaign reporting?

I have a very large number of junk leads to delete from our instance; however, we're concerned that when we delete them, it will change the reporting results for campaigns they were sent in the past. I've searched the community for answers to this question, but no one seems to have asked it before.

My assumption is that those reports will not change, but thought I'd ask to be safe.

I would think so, since those just report on aggregate metrics - not WHO is behind those numbers.  The data loss would occur if you're reporting on program membership, success, etc.

I guess it depends on which reports you're referring to.  But usually, if you physically delete a lead, it will impact reporting.  Basically, if the data isn't there (in this case, the lead record), it won't be counted in the report.

As far as reports go, I'm wondering about the basic email engagement & deliverability reports: Send, Delivered, Bounced, Unsubscribed, Open, Click. Those should remain the same right?
