Do these contacts exist in Marketo or no

Question:

I ask alot of questions here this one is related to Database....management...

So, I have a static list of people....once I upload yes it will update existing contacts in MKT.O......how to find out if they already exist in Marketo or are new?

In addition to what @Sonali Jadeja​ mentioned above, you can add another filter "Created At" to narrow down net new leads from your recent upload.

The correct way to do this is to use "Person was created" with a "List Name" constraint. That will give you the list of people who were created on list import.

All the other members of the static list were updated on import.

The other methods above can become inaccurate after the first import (the list of addresses might vary each time you reimport data) or might not work if the list of emails become to long (you will only be able to enter a few thousands of email addresses in the filter).

      A quick way would be to create a smart list with email address filter and copying the emails in the values. If your smart list returns leads, that means those contacts are already in your system.
