Does Marketo allow Chinese/Japanes email addresses?

If the email address is in Chinese/Japanese, will Marketo support this and successfully send the email?  We're trying to advise the field to convert these to English so that our data management campaigns will execute properly against these email addresses (specifically the email domain).  Just curious.

Nope, not supported.

You can go to Lead Database > New Lead and enter characters in the email address field to see how it's validated.
