Editing an email template from preview mode

Hi, I'm trying to edit an email template in Design Studio but the template is opening in the source view as opposed to a Preview. I thought I had already edited a template in this way. Am I mistaken, or can they only be updated using the code?

Templates are edited using the HTML source. There's no drag-and-drop for templates, only for emails used by those templates.
