Been running into some issues in the new email 2.0 template editor. We've taken some of the templates included with the 2.0 upgrade and adjusted them to our brand colors / replaced images & branding, etc. When I try to use the "save as a template" function, many of the colors and images revert back to the defaults. Do these edits need to be done at template code level?
Yes. If you're changing the color in the email module, then saving as a template, the existing template (which still has the original color) will still be there. Your best bet, after you 'save as template' would be to go back and edit the template and swap out the colors as needed. It'll still save you more time with all the other edits you've made that should have been updated in the template, but the overriding part is one that you'll need to tweak after.
