Email activity retention changes - how will flow choices be impacted?

In reviewing the Sent and Delivered Activity retention changes, it says "...any date range greater than 90 days will not return results". What happens in a flow step choice, for example,

If <Not was sent email> is <Email name> ?

Will this still work?

Will it return true if the email was sent more than 90 days ago?

Is there an assumed "in the past 90 days" to the <Not was sent email> choice?

I know the policy says it only affects smart lists, but choices are usually special cases of smart list filters being applied during the flow, and because we can't qualify the choice with a date period, we can't limit it to the past 90 days.

I'd welcome clarification @matt_pergram ?

Thanks

Yes, you can look at it that way, since there is an implicit cap.

Yes, the choice — which always looks back as far as it can — is capped at 90 days.
