Email activity retention changes - will engagement programs be affected?

Will Engagement Programs retain perpetually that someone has been sent a piece of content in the stream beyond 90 days? It would be a very unfortunate side effect of this policy if people start getting content repeated if they remain in a stream for longer than 90 days...

You do not need to worry about this.  The "memory" of whether an asset has already been sent is a special exception to the retention period.
