Email performance report issue

I would think that the leads count from the email performance report would equal the click names in our smart list (clicks link in email) but their is a delta. Any clue why this is happening?

The email performance report is giving you metrics based on an asset. (all clicks by a person will show up and equal MANY) The smart list is based on people. (all clicks by a person will = ONE)
