Email Script Tokens/Opportunity Triggers
Hi Everyone,
I'm trying to create an email alert based on opportunity fields within SF. I've spoken with support and read through some docs in here and it looks like it can be done via Email Script tokens. We've tried to get this set up, and it's still not working.
For context, we have a partner marketplace and have customers requesting information on these partners as potential integrations/add ons to their current plans. Customers are able to request info on as many partners as they would like and each time a request comes through, it's logged in SF and an opportunity is created. We'd like to send an email to the requesting company about 10 days after the opp is created so we can follow up and see how their experience with our partner is going. We're currently using email script token based on a custom SF field "Third Party Referral Name" which we were hoping would pull the partner name into the body of the email for that specific opportunity.
Hoping someone might have insights into this - We're running a smart list from a trigger on an opportunity update, but the opp list is one-to-many with the contact. Is there a way to pass the ID to a script token so we can get a related field?
