Hi Everyone,

I'm am experienced email marketer, but new to the Marketo platform.

Wondering if you have any suggestions on using/placing emojis into the email subject line?

Look forward to hearing what your preferences and best practices are.

Thanks,

Hannah

Thought this would be helpful to note regarding emoji's in subject lines:

If you have punctuation marks in your subject line, it could impact the emoji rendering. I've found that if you strip out punctuation marks and send yourself a test with characters and the emoji token only, then it should render correctly. For some reason, you can then add the punctuation marks back in and the emoji will render as expected.

Non-ASCII punctuation marks (not all punctuation marks) need to be Q-encoded. See https://nation.marketo.com/t5/product-blogs/once-you-manually-q-encode-an-emoji-in-a-marketo-subject-line/ba-p/334532
