Export 20,000+ Records from Campaign Results

My company has to export deliver and bounce results from smart campaigns for auditing purposes. Excel exports from Marketo max out at 20,000 records, but our list size exceeds 20k.

I've already tried separating results by delivered and bounced, but the delivered results alone are over 20,000. Any suggestions how else to export these results?

Marketo support hasn't been able to supply an answer why there is a limit, but their team will export results larger than 20,000 upon support request.

Second thoughts: I misunderstood your issue, which is not an Excel issue but a export one. And this is weird, as you should be able to export more than 20k. We made an 80k export just 2 weeks ago.

This campaign yielded 21,000+ results for delivered emails. When I export the list, only 20,000 appear in the file.

Hi Kim,

You can either create a campaign to bucket all the 21K leads into a List and do the export. To be doubly sure you can create a smart list to track lead counts.

Hi Kim,

Create a smart list that provides the list of leads you want to export.

Then, use a smart campaign with the "random" function to split this smart list content into multiple static lists.

You will see an example of the random function here: Nurture Streams - Have leads randomly placed in a stream

Then export each static list separately.

Upgrade to the most recent version of Excel on a 64 bit system, it supports 1 million lines
