Filtering Out Products by Purchase Date

Hello,

I created a custom object for Product Info and now am trying to pull a smart list for people who purchased for the first time this year. The problem is that I can get the list to show people who have purchased this year, but can't seem to filter out people who already had products purchased in previous years. Here is a print screen of my smart list:

I've also tried "Purchase Date is on or after 01/1/2019" and adding another filter for "Has Product Info True; Purchase Date after 12/31/208" but they had the same results. Any ideas?
