Form Builder For Marketo (Multi Step, Conditional Qs, UTMs)

Hi all,

I’m creating a drag-n-drop form builder that allows for:

  • Multi step forms
  • Progress bars
  • Conditional questions
  • UTM param capture
  • Really nice designs and templates

… without any dev or design input needed.

I was wondering, would the Marketo community see value in a version specifically for Marketo?

It’d include the features you’d expect from a native Marketo form.

This isn’t an attempt to advertise so I won’t mention the name - genuine feedback requested, as native forms have been a source of frustration for me personally.

    Hey! This sounds AWESOME! Did it ever come about?

    Marketo is SOO lacking when it comes to out of the box features that almost all other form solutions have. I don't want to program my own multi-step form with progressive yada-yada and javascript along with my own CSS and step indicator bar. Uhg! Why is it so difficult to build something nice. You'd think with what we have to pay that there'd be MUCH better user experience and features (no-code). 

     

    Sorry, this comes after about 20 searches that brought me to Marketo Nation threads that went nowhere.

        Hey Mr. Dude -- love the name, love the idea!

        How do you imagine this would integrate with a Marketo form -- would it be a stand-alone service that pushed to a hidden form or something that you could use within the Marketo form editor experience?

        One of the challenges we see often for clients is customizing forms (adding fields and logic) and styling forms (adding CSS/dealing with native Marketo forms CSS) so I think this would be a big step forward for lots of folks.

        I've tinkered around with adding a few of these pieces (Multistep, conditional, nice designs) w/ HTML, JS and CSS inside a RichText element on a form and had varying degrees of success with it, I'd be willing to provide beta feedback on something like this if you'd benefit from an extra set of eyes / ideas, just DM me when you're ready.

        Hey Dave, haha cheers!

        Still at investigation stage, but most successful approach so far has been:

        - Marketo code loaded into browser as per usual implementation instructions
        - Hide the Marketo form
        - Create entire new form, with validation/logic/swishy things
        - Populate hidden Marketo form and submit when ready

        This approach can also be used to get any pre-filled values, so effectively allows for personalisation.
