Get Update Activity on Custom Objects from SFDC to Marketo

Hello All, 
 
We have created a Marketo custom object and have mapped it with the SFDC custom object using REST API. We are able to get the create activity by using "Added to Custom Object" trigger in Marketo but when the object is getting updated we are not able to trigger the updated value and not able to see the activity in Marketo's activity log. Is there any workaround for this?
 
Or do we need to create separate custom objects for each stage (Qualified, Won, Lost) to receive the updates from SDFC to Marketo?

Custom Object updates will never be visible in a person's activity history. But you can have Marketo Support enable the trigger "Object is updated" in your instance.
