Have the ability to create a pdf version of an email within Marketo

We have clients who have requested pdf versions of the newsletter emails we've sent out - and there's no way to currently do this in Marketo.  Right now, I'm having to send the email to myself, save as HTML, then export to pdf from there, and then crop the pages in Acrobat.  This is the only way I've found to preserve both the look of the email and the active links.  It would be great to have a feature directly in Marketo to export to pdf and keep the integrity of images/links.

I'd love to see this as a feature. We need proof of performance for our clients, and sending a PDF would be much easier and more reliable than a screenshot. We also use Workfront, and find that we can't really use the Proofing without something like this.

Looks like this hasn't been touched since 2020 - any updates on this becoming a feature within Marketo?

Having to send a sample to yourself, open in web page, screen capture it as a jpg, convert to a PDF is a process that is just unnecessary and can solve a love of UX issues.

We also have to provide mail pdf for client proofs, etc. I test the mail to myself, view in browser, and capture with MS Snipping Tool.

If you have Snagit, you can use to do this, as well. It also has a function that preserves the functionality of the links in the pdf.

For simple static emails, this would be super useful to our team even without active links within the PDF.

And Marketo has updated "View in web" token. It cannot be shared with another person now. Earlier we used to share that or add as reference, so that the stake holders can view what the MOp's have created. Now that this feature is taken off, it would be great if this feature comes up!

Actually you can still share the original tracked link (the mkt_tok is stripped off after the redirect from the branding domain, not before) But of course you shouldn't do that anyway.

If the email doesn't actually use anything personalized in any way, yes. If you're using Velocity or other tokens, you'll need the real email and links will be personalized.

I mean now that Adobe owns Marketo...this should be a no brainer

I use PDFmy URL  https://pdfmyurl.com/.  This may work for you.

Great idea.  We create pdfs of every email we send for various internal use cases.  This would save a lot of time/effort.
