How will updating segmentation affect dynamic snippet?

Hi all,

I have built a snippet and made it dynamic based on a segmentation that I have built. I need to update the segmentation but I am unsure how this will affect the snippet?

There are 2 scenarios:

  1. Update existing segmentation rules.
  2. Add a new segment (new rule) within the existing segmentation.

Any help would be much appreciated.

  • Changing filters in an existing Segment's Smart List: will reapprove related Dynamic Snippets and will not create new drafts of assets that consume those Snippets.
  • Adding an additional Segment: samesies.

When you add a new Segment and don't go into the Snippet, then the new Segment gets the Default content. (This was probably self-evident.)
