I'm probably overthinking how to do this. I would like to have "owner is inactive" as a filter in Marketo. That way I can see leads owned by them and reassign them based on that.
I looked at the admin section inside SFDC on our Marketo user profile and cannot find the field that would tell Marketo this. Any ideas or help in the right direction?

This is not possible out of the box, but can be simulated with some work on the SFDC side. You will need to create some SFDC fields on leads, contacts and accounts, and some triggers on the user so that, when the user is flag as "inactive", the fields in question are updated.
You probably want to create an Idea, and I'll add it to this list
