Is a marketo downlaodable asset (PDF URL) considered a webpage visit?

Hi,

When I upload a PDF as a downloadable asset in Design Studio, if someone clicks on the URL for the PDF that was generated by Marketo, and they scroll through the PDF, is that considered / captured as a web page visit in Marketo?

No, not even a single PDF visit (let alone scroll) is a Visit Web Page.

Which is why you should always Stop using direct download links (unless you want to lose tracking!)

    That's unfortunate!! Thank you @Sanford Whiteman! Just read your blog post, slick stuff, I hope I can actually put it into practice --I get the idea of a redirector etc., but I got lost when I saw code. I'll go sleep on it and read it again tomorrow.
