Issues syncing Event Check-In app data back to Marketo

Hi Community - I'm hoping you can help!

 

We're using the Event Check-in App and are having issues with the sync back to Marketo. 

 

The event is set-up, scheduled and confirmed in the Calendar and we can see the event and registrants in the app.
 
We wanted to test the check-in process with a test event program and registrant, however, when we sync, no data is coming back through to Marketo from the app - statuses aren't updating to attended, walk-in aren't showing up as new people. So it doesn't look like the sync from the Event Check-in app back to Marketo is working, even though the sync from Marketo to the app seems to be working fine.
 
We've tested this on two different devices in two locations to ensure it wasn’t a device/connection issue.

 

Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

Hello @kheap123 ,

 

In terms of troubleshooting make sure you have checked off all the requirements.

Is the event date within 7 days of current date?

Check the channel applies to -> Event

Check your statuses and status numbers to make sure they make sense.

All else fails; restart device and contact Marketo support.

Thanks for your reply. 

 

Yeah, we're all set up in terms of set-up. I've just checked your tips as well, and it's all in order. Very strange!

 

We ended up tracking separately on a spreadsheet and updating statuses manually post-event. 

 

Ticket raised with Marketo, I'll post it on here if we get a response.
