Keywords and SEO

Hi All,

After setting up my SEO, what is the next step to getting the keywords I selected to lead to my page? Am I to assume that by adding the keywords into my SEO my job is done? I guess I am a little confused as to how these keywords direct to my page just by being added to my SEO. Or am I completely wrong and now that I have selected those keywords I have to add them to my HTML for my web page.

The keywords will be used to analyze your page and rankings vs. those kw.

Thank you both that helps a lot, I was a bit confused and the documents on it just didn't explain it as much as I would have hoped.

I don;t think you are understanding what SEO does. 

Basically when you add keywords to Marketo SEO you begin tracking your success with those keywords.  You can see if your pages rank with those keywords and also how you can modify your pages to rank better with those keywords.

SEO in marketo is not a magic bullet, it is merely informational data about how you rank with keywords, how your competitors rank and what you need to improve your rank.

SEO takes a long time to gain traction so don;t expect results over night.
