Lead Activity Type (9) Unsubscribe Email

Hello,

I'm looking for any information on how "Lead Activity Type (9) Unsubscribe Email" is used and/or how it happens?  The activity type description states "Person unsubscribed from Marketo Emails" but I have tried Unsubscribing within the UI and that only gets sent across the API via activity type (13) Changed Data Value with a primaryAttributeValueID of (80) Unsubscribed.  When I send out an email and a customer unsubscribes through Marketo form this activity is logged also as type (13) Changed Data Value with a primaryAttributeValueID of (80) Unsubscribed.

How do we make Activity Type (9) Unsubscribe Email happen?  We want to make sure we cover all of our basis when dealing with unsubscribes.

Thanks for the direction.  Couldn't find anything about this in documentation or I wasn't looking in the right area.  I tested this scenario out with GMAIL and was able to get Activity Type 9 back.

Happy to help! It's an interesting one and is maybe more like a subtype or reason code for form-based Unsubscribe. In fact you've just inspired me to create a pseudo-group "Unsubscribe types" in an integration I'm building.
