Lead assignment to Partition - Assignment rule in Admin or Smart Campaiogn?

Hello,

 

I was going through with a few questions related to the partition and workspace, please refer the question in screenshot.

 


As per my understanding, we should do assignments at the admin level, but the Adobe answer key says it should be at the smart campaign level.

Can anyone please help me to understand where I am missing here?

Hi @kirtiag1 - I completely agree with @sanfordwhiteman 

 

Using Smart Campaign to assign new leads to each partition based on the country fields is the only option, which has been marked as the correct answer in the screenshot.

Although you’ve cut off the text, I think the implication is you will have Country assigned either when the person is created or just after, meaning you can only use a Smart Campaign.

Hi @kirtiag1 

 

In my opinion both answers would be correct in fact. 

- You can either work in Admin and set up Assignment Rules to make sure the leads are assigned to the right Partition 

- Or you could work with a Smart Campaign to add records to the right Partition
