Link Tracking Using Non-Marketo Assets

Can you track links with Marketo when the asset promoted is not hosted in Marketo? Ex. promote a video on Twitter that is hosted in YouTube

You can do this today using the Social buttons or Youtube Video app

Steps to follow - 
1. After creating the social app as a local asset, place it on a Landing Page.  
2. Visit the LP and click on the share button or play the video.  Follow the prompts to authenticate with a social profile and share.  This will generate a short URL like http://mrk.to/xyz
3. Now promote http://mrk.to/xyz on Twitter.  All the links and associated shares/referrals will get tracked
