Marketing Calendar with Upcoming Emails

Not in the January release either. What's the word on this feature? 

So just wondering, does my company need to invest in another calendaring system, or is the Marketo calendaring system going to be released Q1 2014? I need answers.

The Marketing Calendar is not included in the December release as many of you noticed the other day.  We are so close, but it's not ready for Primetime yet. It will be in the communication when we are ready to release.

3 years and an empty release notification. Do you need beta testers?

From last week's email about December Release I can guess it won't be included in trhe December updates?  I'm getting pretty discouraged about this feature.  How many times can you say it is going to be released and it doesn't?!  We are all pretty smart people using this product, just be straight.

I would also like to know when the new email calendaring system will be released. My boss is asking that I research calendaring systems for 2014, just wondering if I can tell her that Marketo will have this available to us Q1 2014 and that we do not have to search for another product to use. I remember Marketo talking about the calendaring system at the 2013 conference which seems so long ago.

Ben/Mike, This project is really important to us too.  We want to get it right and deliver something that we can be proud of and you can love.  There are currently 14 different people, including several of our best engineers working on this every  single day (and some weekends!).  This isn't a side project.  This is front and center.

We have working (incomplete) code now and it's getting better every single week.  However, there are a million details that make a huge difference.  There are so many cool features that tie seamlessly into Marketo and they all need attention.  This will become a major part of every day use and an iconic part of what Marketo is.  

In 2012, it was on the roadmap and not making progress.  We started design early this year (2013) and engineering followed a few months after.  Once code starts, there is no stopping it.  Whether it lands in one particular month or the next isn't the goal. The goal is to ship something you will love.

As soon as there are screens I can share with you, I will.  Bear with us.  We work every single day to make your lives better.

Its extremely disappointing that one of the most frequently requested features has taken almost 4 years.  I would prefer Marketo to just say its not going to happen rather than continually string us along. 

Calendar functionality will be released in the summertime.

We hear you loud and clear and love this feature. It won't take another 3 years, but this is on our roadmap to accomplish in a really nice way.

As you know, it did not make it into the October release, however, we are shooting to release something in December.
